Abstract

we would like to inform you that the current study aimed to determine the degree of effectiveness of university administration in performing its function in serving the community in order to improve lifelong learning opportunities in the dimensions of availability and diversity. the thesis also aimed to determine effectiveness, access and dissemination, and the researcher used the descriptive approach, relying on the questionnaire as a tool to collect data that he collected according to the facilitated sample, which numbered (2048) individuals from the saudi community in the first semester of the academic year 2024. the study extracted a number of results, the most important of which is the high degree of effectiveness of university administration in performing the function of community service and enhancing lifelong learning opportunities from the point of view of the study sample. accordingly, the ease of attending events, the diversity of programs offered and their multiple specializations appeared as the most important results in the dimension of availability and diversity, and the ability of program presenters and the suitability of the content with future needs came as the most important results in the dimension of effectiveness. this resulted in the possibility of effective communication with program providers, and the university administration’s continuous and widespread advertising of its effectiveness as the most important results in the dimension of access and dissemination. the study concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample regarding their assessment of the effectiveness of the university administration in performing the community service function in these dimensions. whereas, this is originally due to the difference in the type of sample (male-female), and these differences were in favor of the male sample, and in the variable of the current residential area, it came in favor of the center and north of the kingdom, while in the variable of educational qualification, it came in favor of high school or less. the differences in age were in favor of the age group (31) and above, and the study recommended the importance of building an interactive platform for community service that includes an available bank of recorded programs and seminars.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد درجة فعالية الإدارة الجامعية في أداء وظيفتها في خدمة المجتمع تعزيز لفرص التعلم مدى الحياة في ا أبعاد الإتاحة، والتنوع، والفعالية، والوصول، الانتشار. واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، معتمد على الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات من العينة ا ا لميسرة التي بلغ عددها ) 2048 ( فرد من المجتمع السعودي في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الجامعي 2024 . وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من ا النتائج من أهمها ارتفاع درجة فعالية الإدارة الجامعية في قيامها بأداء وظيفة خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز فرص التعلم مدى الحياة من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة، وجاءت سهولة طرق حضور الفعاليات، وتنوع البرامج المطروحة وتعدد تخصصاتها كأهم النتائج في بعد الإتاحة والتنوع، كما جاء تمكن مقدمي البرامج وتناسب المحتوى مع احتياجات المستقبل كأهم النتائج في بعد الفعالية، وجاءت إمكانية التواصل الفعال مع مقدمي البرامج، وقيام الإدارة الجامعية بالإعلان عن فاعلياتها بصورة مستمرة وواسعة الانتشار كأهم النتائج في بعد الوصول والانتشار، كما كشفت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات عينة الدراسة حول تقديرهم لفعالية الإدارة الجامعية في أداء وظيفة خدمة المجتمع في تلك الأبعاد، تعود لاختلاف نوع العينة )ذكر – أنثى(، وكانت تلك الفروق لصالح عينة الذكور، وفي متغير منطقة السكن الحالية جاءت لصالح وسط وشمال المملكة، في حين جاءت في متغير المؤهل الدراسي لصالح الحاصلين على الثانوية فأقل، كما جاءت الفروق في العمر لصالح الشريحة العمرية ) 31 سنة( فأكثر، وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية بناء منصة تفاعلية لخدمة المجتمع تتضمن بنك متاح من البرامج والندوات المسجلة.
